North Branch Studio designs and produces hand made wooden furniture, custom cabinets and built-ins, fabrication for artists and art institutions, as well as limited runs of lighting and small objects.

North Branch Studio LLC is solely owned and operated by designer and maker, Nate Braunfeld. His background in studio art (with a BFA in sculpture and MFA in art and technology studies) provides a deep knowledge of and appreciation for material and craft. He gains satisfaction from working collaboratively with clients to produce objects and structures uniquely suited to each space.

The studio is located in sunny Albany Park, a short walk from the north branch of the Chicago river.
